DrillDown Entertainment Group is an independent Record Label, Music Production and Management company located in Los Angeles, CA. The CEO, Paul Palmer, has had a long and distinguished career in the music Industry, selling in excess of 75 million records as a label head, an A&R executive, a mixer and manager.
Prior to founding DrillDown Entertainment in 2012, he co founded Trauma Records, and launched the careers of internationally acclaimed bands such as No Doubt and Bush, among others. Palmer sold his interest in Trauma Records in 2003 and in 2006 co founded Rock Mafia LLC and RMR Music Group, a record label, production and publishing company.
As a partner in Rock Mafia for 8 years, Paul ran the day to day business of the company as well as mixing records for a wide range of top selling artists, including Miley Cyrus, Selena Gomez, Vanessa Hudgens, Demi Lovato and Scotty McCreery.
In 2011 Rock Mafia independently released and marketed the single “The Big Bang” and sales to date are in excess of 800,000 singles. DrillDown’s first release is The Sick Puppies who have enjoyed TOP 10 success in the Alternative and Rock markets.
With Paul’s A&R skills, the band’s second album Tri- Polar has garnered four top ten singles, with over 2 million singles sold.
The band’s third album will be released through DRILLDOWN / EMI RECORDS this spring. DrillDown Entertainment is a boutique label whose team is focused on identifying, developing, promoting and marketing talent.
